After six weeks of dedicated work the Robonauts have shipped their 2008 Competition Robot, affectionatly known as Ballacuda. But our season is not over yet! Preperations for the Lone Star and Bayou Regionals have already begun. Each week night students are gathering in thier sub-teams to create and organize our competition pit set up, fabricate our mascot, create out spirit items, and train our flight team. Earning our ticket to Atlanta is a long journey but the Robonauts are committed to fielding a competitive team and earning an invitation to the Championship. We just can't wait for Lone Star. See yall in Houston!
The Houston Botball tournament will be taking place this weekend on Saturday, March 8th. The Robonauts will be setting up the venue Friday night while on Saturday we will be helping with the tournament. In addition to that the Robonauts will be supporting our own Botball team composed of future FIRSTers as they compete in the tournament.
