Welcome to Robonauts.org
We are a team of 40 high school students partnered with teachers and NASA engineers.
We are a twelve year old organization with 200 graduates.
We build exciting and competitive robots to participate in the FIRST Robotics Competition.
We work to educate our community in the field of engineering.
We mentor elementary students in LEGO robotics competitions to build the future.
We strive to change the world and create a better tomorrow.
We want your help!
As a contributing part of our community we want to involve more people in our efforts to bring science and technology to the fore front of our society. We want to extend an invitation for you to see what we participate in. The FIRST robotics competition is epitome of excitement and education combined. We would love for you to attend one of the regional competitions to see for yourself the effect this organization has of students and become inspired yourself. As our guest you will receive a VIP tour of the event. Please have a look around our site and contact us if you are interested in finding out more about the Robonauts, or any robotics education initiative. Please refer to our Lead NASA Engineer Lucien Junkin who will be able
to answer any questions you may have.
We will be competing at the Lone Star Regional in Katy, TX on March 20th-22nd and at the Bayou Regional in New Orleans, LA on March 28th-30th. If we qualify at either of these two events we will attend the Championship Event in Atlanta on April 17th-19th.
As Robonauts our mission is to help fulfill American's unmet need for engineers and thus ensuring America's continuing ability to solve the world's most vital issues.
