Get Ready for the Summer Reading Challenge.

We'll share daily reading activities from around the globe as you embark on a reading passport adventure. Stay tuned to our social media channels and newsletter emails for more information about the challenge.

Does your student need to take a class or two over the summer? Does your incoming 8th grader want to get College and Career Ready?

Intermediate and High School summer school will be held on-campus or online (HS only) starting June 7, 2021. Pre-registration is open until May 21, 2021. Contact your school counselor to register.

From Makerspaces and Origami to Reading with Dogs and Kids in the Garden, your local library is rich with fun activities to fit nearly every child's interests.

Summer Enrichment Banner

CCISD is excited to offer weekly learning experiences for students that focus on the skills of each grade level.

An Elementary summer course will be available in itslearning. Learning experiences will be offered for K-2 and 3-5. When the Summer Learning Journey course is published, simply login to the Single Sign-on portal (SSO) to access the course in itslearning.

Secondary students can sign up for our Summer Bridge courses offered through Edgenuity. Once published, students can self-enroll in Edgenuity via the Single Sign-on Portal.

ReadyRosie is an online resource with daily activities for adults to do with their children. Each activity is modeled with a two-minute video. The activities are simple and help prepare children for success in school.

Sora Reading Image

Sora Free Online Library Access.
 Check out Sora - a reading app that allows students to borrow eBooks and audiobooks online for free.

Students access the app by logging in to the single sign-on portal, clicking the “library resources” tab at the top, and then finding the Sora app. Sora can be used on any device and borrowed books can also be downloaded so students can access them without having to be connected to the internet.

Free Audiobooks Through Audible.
 Planning a road trip or travel this summer? Did you know that CCISD offers age-appropriate free audiobooks through Audible? 

Simply login to the single sign-on portal, click the "library resources" tab and look for the Audible logo. Once clicked, your student will have access to free audiobooks for any travel adventure.
