Advanced Placement Exams

2020 SPRING Semester AP Courses ONLY
(AP Government, AP Economics, AP Psychology)
Advanced Placement Exams will be on sale
Monday, January 27th – Friday, February 14th

Registration will close at 2:30 pm, Friday, February 14th.

Students will register with the campus Lead Counselor in the campus College and Career/Counseling Center.
For more information, please contact your high school’s College and Career/Counseling Center.

ALL payments must be received by the campus College and Career Center/Counseling Center no later than 2:30pm, Friday, February 14th.

  • The cost per exam is $94.
  • Students who qualify for a fee reduction will pay $25 for each exam purchased. In order to qualify for fee reduction, families MUST complete or update meal benefits application before registering for AP exams.
  • Payment options: cash, check or money order ONLY. Check and money orders should be made payable to name of your high school.
  • Cash or check payments (made payable to name student’s high school) must be delivered to the College and Career Center/Counseling Center at student’s high school.
  • An additional $45 proctoring fee will be assessed for AP exams for courses that are not taught on the student’s high school home campus.
  • If a student needs to purchase an AP course exam after February 14th, the student must meet with the campus Lead Counselor. The cost of purchasing an exam after this deadline will be an additional $40.
  • If you see an AP testing conflict (i.e. two exams at the same time, UIL event), please see your campus Lead Counselor. The Lead Counselor will work with you to find alternative testing options.
  • ​NO AP course exams can be purchased after Wednesday, March 4, 2020.
  • Refund policy:
    • $49 is non-refundable if the test is canceled or not taken by the student ($89 is non-refundable if a late exam was purchased)
    • Deadline for requesting a refund: May 22

 Additional Information:

  • ALL payments must be received by the campus College and Career Center/Counseling Center no later than 2:30pm, Friday, October 25th.
  • The cost per exam is $94 (Capstone Research and Capstone Seminar are $142 per exam);
  • Students who qualify for a fee reduction will pay $25 for each exam purchased (Capstone Research and Capstone Seminar are $73 per exam). In order to qualify for fee reduction, families MUST complete or update meal benefits application before registering for AP exams.
  • Payment may be made by credit card on the website at the time of registration.
    • There is a 4.16% transaction fee for each credit card purchase.
  • Cash or check payments (made payable to name student’s high school) must be delivered to the College and Career Center/Counseling Center at student’s high school.
  • Campus College and Career Center/Counseling Center will open during all lunches in order to assist students with payments if paying by cash or check.

NEW THIS YEAR:
After completing online registration with CCISD, student will select exam decision in student's AP class portal.

  • Sign in to myap.collegeboard.org using your College Board student account login. This is the same login you use to join you My AP section, AP class, access your AP scores, PSAT scores, or registrar for the SAT.
  • Once you are logged in, click on the Exam button.
  • Once you have registered for the exam, paid for the exam, set your exam decision to YES in your My AP class section portal. This must be done for each exam purchased.
